Client Challenge
The fire safety contractor in Kyiv was looking to expand its home fire safety product range to meet growing residential market demand in Ukraine. Previous suppliers had issues with:
- Inconsistent product quality between batches
- Missing UKCA / UL 217 certification documentation
- Long lead times (60+ days) causing stock-outs
- Limited APP localization — English-only interface unsuitable for Ukraine consumers
Wanlin's Solution
Wanlin assigned a dedicated export account manager to the Kyiv client and provided:
1. Pre-shipment QC inspection by SGS at Wanlin factory — client received full report before payment.
2. Complete UKCA / UL 217 documentation package — accepted by Ukraine customs on first submission.
3. Customized packaging with Ukraine language instructions and local compliance marks.
4. 2-week delivery via sea freight (FCL) + DHL air for urgent replenishment orders.
5. English + local-language APP — reducing customer support burden for the Kyiv client.
Results After 6 Months
- Zero quality-related returns from end consumers in Ukraine
- 90% repeat purchase rate among end users who registered the APP
- Client expanded from 1 SKU to 5 Wanlin product lines
- Second order placed within 3 months — quantity increased by 46%
- Achieved ISO 9001 factory audit acceptance by Ukraine insurance partner
