Client Challenge
The online retail platform in Istanbul was looking to expand its home fire safety product range to meet growing residential market demand in Turkey. Previous suppliers had issues with:
- Inconsistent product quality between batches
- Missing RoHS / EN14604 certification documentation
- Long lead times (60+ days) causing stock-outs
- Limited APP localization — English-only interface unsuitable for Turkey consumers
Wanlin's Solution
Wanlin assigned a dedicated export account manager to the Istanbul client and provided:
1. Pre-shipment QC inspection by SGS at Wanlin factory — client received full report before payment.
2. Complete RoHS / EN14604 documentation package — accepted by Turkey customs on first submission.
3. Customized packaging with Turkey language instructions and local compliance marks.
4. 8-week delivery via sea freight (FCL) + DHL air for urgent replenishment orders.
5. English + local-language APP — reducing customer support burden for the Istanbul client.
Results After 6 Months
- Zero quality-related returns from end consumers in Turkey
- 94% repeat purchase rate among end users who registered the APP
- Client expanded from 1 SKU to 6 Wanlin product lines
- Second order placed within 5 months — quantity increased by 39%
- Achieved ISO 9001 factory audit acceptance by Turkey insurance partner
